Well this is a real bummer. ABC’s take on the superhero genre isn’t fairing well in the ratings and for that reason they’ve decided to cut two episodes from its previously increased 22-episode order. In October the alphabet network granted No Ordinary Family the safety cushion that is known as the back nine, increasing its episode count from 13 to 22. It’s all about the ratings game in TV land, and unfortunately Family is not winning. The so-so pilot attracted about 10.7 million viewers in late September, and that number has significantly dropped since. The latest episode “No Ordinary Love” which aired this past Tuesday garnered a measly 4.77 million viewers, despite hotties Tricia Helfer and Lucy Lawless making special guest appearances. The next two weeks ABC will air repeats of the show, and then it is set to return March 23 and will air its last three episodes of the season (the season finale falls on April 5).
Why I am telling you all of this? Because if happen to be a fan of this show like me (rocky start but recent surge in intriguing mythology), I thought it’d only be proper to prepare you for the inevitable. I hate to say it but ABC’s lowest-rated scripted program is likely to get the axe come this spring.

We should do something about this, this is a very good show they already took Heroes. I’m so sick of reality T.V. Shows. This was something I looked forward to every Tuesday NinghtM WTF give it a chance its only been on one seasonan and every episodes bEen pretty good if you ask me..I’m in No Ordinary Mood right now Somebody Please go and Talk to the NO Ordinary People down at ABC and get us another season of No Ordinary Family
I agree with TreyVon Cargill. ABC Please do not take this show off the air. It’s the only good family show available that has action, drama, mystery, excitment, law and Love. It is my family’s number one show. Please try it for at lest another 6 months. I think you will find No Ordinary Family’s ratings will go up.
stupid reality shows get renewed sci fi fans have to suffer with good shows like this going off the air. my america is sure dumbed down!

I hope that the fact that a lot of people watch the show online didn’t disturb the rating’s count, because if I had known that I would have watch when it aired more. I enjoy the show so much. I hope it is brought back. There are so many fans.

i’m a big fan of no ordinary family in my opinion..THE BESt family oriented super hero show i have ever seen!!!! i have read COUNTLESS remarks of this cancelation! are you people at abc so dense you can’t see how many people this effected?? if you don’t jump back on this someone else will…if i had the money hell i’d take it up!!!

I hate the fact that they let series that are c grade go on for 8 seasons and 2 and a half men which is not a family show go on for many seasons even after the main actor breaks down and yet when a show that I think is really great and many people agree it gets axed after 1 season bring back public demand or petitions . Bring back no ordinary family !!!!!
I love this show, my favorite by far! This was one show the whole family could watch, and enjoy together!
im from england, and im not sure who else is, or if everyone else on here is from america. but i love no ordinary family. i probably dont get some of the ” inside ” jokes that are for americans only so to speak. but this is one american sitcom that ive been able to get into. i love this. i know its already been axed but i would love it if it hasnt, it feels genuine, not like malcome in the middle, or keenan and kel which although is fun really isnt genuine. LONG LIVE NO ORDINARY FAMILY and if its been axed BRING IT BACK supernatural only has 4.5 million viewers and its still going.

Bring the show back!!! My husband and I happen to love this show! The ending was so excited with the military involved I think the show could pick up on viewers! Please bring No Ordinary Family back!!
I just watched the 20 episodes on netflix.. definitely a slow and questionable start but midseason it takes off and every episode is very entertaining! I’m hoping enough people watch this on netflix and get it back on the air!
I, personally, am a huge fan of clean-humored, nuclear family type shows. The neighbors, still standing, everybody loves raymond are all some of my favs. I recently found no ordinary family on hulu, and my husband and I are so obssessed. Im very disappointed that this show didnt get picked up! We need to petition!
This was one of the best tv shows I’ve seen in along time. I just purchased the entire season and enjoyed watching it the second time….please bring it back ABC.
