Disco Chair is a neon delight

The Disco Chair, designed by Kiwi&Pom, is made from 200 meters of electroluminescent wire. When connected to a power source, the owner can enable the pulse setting to make the chair flash bright, vibrant neon colors “creating an instant disco installation.” Neat-0.
Yin & Yang bunk bed

One of the many eco-friendly designs on display at the Milan International Furniture Fair. I got dibs on top bunk.
Lego Boardroom Table

The table consists of 22,742 pieces clicked together with traditional lego construction techniques (no glue), a 136mm grommet is located in its centre. It sits on a polished Stainless Steel square hollow section structure built by B.A. Engineering of Prussia St and is topped with a 10mm sheet of toughened glass manufactured by Action Glass.
Ah, to sit at the head of a Lego boardroom table. Imagine…

A chair designed with a surfer in mind

PK Lounge chair, designed by Cristian Wicha.
Wicha designs both chairs and surfboards, so this is what happens when his two passions collide. You get a “lounge chair” with smooth curves and sharp looks.
Keyboard Bench

Wolfgang Keyboard Bench, designed by Nolan Herbut.
The Wolfgang keyboard bench is made up of 2,000 keys imbedded into a layered Baltic birch wood. Each key is pressable and actually makes a clicking sound when pressed.
Neat! Check out a bunch of detailed shots of the keyboard bench in the gallery below.
Expandable chair made entirely of recycled paper and wood

The FlexibleLove chair, designed by Chishen Chiu, combines an “accordion-like, honeycomb structure” and recycled paper and wood waste to form an expandable chair than can stretch and fold to make various seating arragements. The company calls it “ecological, adaptable, practical” and I couldn’t agree more. I want one! Look after the break for a video of it in action.

Molded by Hungarian designer Alexander Christoff, this lounge chair is inspired by the Ferrari Formula 1 racecar. It’s made out of fiberglass and features chrome legs and an adjustable headrest. Me likey. Check out additional images (and a shot of it next to its inspiration) in the gallery below.
The Love Handles chair is sensitive to the touch

The Love Handles chair from Nunoerin features “an interactive finish” that changes color as a response to change in body temperature when you sit on it. You can call it thermo-sensitive if you like. Neat-o.

Does a tetris chair go poof when you sit on it?
For all you shape-shifters out there

Sink into the “Breathing Chair,” designed by Yu-Wing Wu.
There is a “trick” behind the design of various sizes of holes in the chair – based on professional calculation of the spatial structure, the tofu-shaped chair, coated with three layers of foamed plastic, can “automatically adjust” according to the weight and posture of the person sitting on it.
Human Furnature

Human Furniture Collection by Samal Design.
They are disturbingly “inspired by men’s beauty and sensuality.” The collection is created with “MDF and plastic with metal structure inside for support.”
Ottman plug-and-play

The Music Chocolate, designed by Michi Jjung, is an ottman that features a connection for an MP3 player and an integrated sound system, built-in speakers and all. Gizmodo puts it most approproately: it “massages your feet with beats.” There’s even a Chaiselong version for those who’d rather recline. Check it out in the gallery below.

This concept table is created by Agnieszka Lasota. In his own words…
My furniture are vehicles of time, with the aid of technology they allow a journey into the past. Elements of old furniture found at random I treat as museum artifacts — I place them carefully into a glass showcase. Instead of restoring I secure them in their present state. I show them as they are now, bringing back to life their original function in a new form. Sometimes, with electric polarization, I change the glass into a frosted one, hiding contents. I use the slide of the piece in its best time. Then the projection of the picture from the past becomes sharp and readable. The furniture shines again in old glory.

A pool table on hot wheels

This is the Hurricane Custom Billiards “Unique Autosports” custom-built pool table. It “is built on a chromed steel frame and mounted on four giant shiny rims coated in ultra low-profile rubber, while the table top is covered in tournament-quality black felt and trimmed in black leather. It’s even got a light kit installed capable of 1,000 different colors.” Sweet. Check out more images of this insane pool table made only for the rich and famous after the break.
