Music video: Black Eyed Peas – “Imma Be Rocking That Body”

Aw yeah.  This is exactly what I’m talking about.  The Black Eyed Peas have created their most epic music video yet with this mega-mashup of “Imma Be” and “Rocking That Body.”  The latter song has yet to shine as a stand-alone single on the charts, but after this video makes its way around, radio stations will surely start picking up requests.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy the future; it’s a ten minute long ride.

Posted after the break is the message from will.i.am straight from Dipdive, the Black Eyed Peas’ online video service.  He says, “Get prepared for the beginning, that’s all I’m saying.”  You know what the means…after The E.N.D. comes The B.E.G.I.N.N.I.N.G!

What’s fun & original? Shoot a webcam vid at an Apple Store!

YouTube user nicholifavs is a typical kid who makes webcam videos of himself lip-synching his favorite songs.  What makes him worthy of notice is the way he makes the videos.  He shoots and uploads all of his videos from the NYC 5th Ave. Apple Store!  He doesn’t care about the onlookers behind him, and it seems like the Apple Store employees don’t have a problem with it.  Check out his rendition of Boom Boom Pow above, and see his YouTube page for more.  Very original, man.  Keep it coming.

Kid Cudi featured in DJ Hero

You may have noticed the DJ Hero turntable peripheral in the Kid Cudi “Make Her Say” music video.  This promotional tie-in was no coincidence.  It has been made official that a remix of Kid Cudi’s “Day n’ Nite” will be featured in the upcoming video game this October.  His single will be mixed with the Black Eyed Peas hit “Boom Boom Pow.”  Check out the video above for a sneak peak.

The E.nergy N.ever D.ies, it doesn't

I just listened to the new Black Eyed Peas’ album, The E.N.D, in its entirety.  It is a great collection of ecclectic beats and catchy, modern lyrics from will.i.am, Fergie, Taboo, and apl.de.ap.  Singles “Boom Boom Pow” and “I Gotta Feeling” are obviously big highlights from the album.  However, there are other notable songs that should be mentioned.  These include “Missing You,” “Electric City,” and “Now Generation.”  The E.N.D. is very different from the first two albums from the Black Eyed Peas, in a good way.  The songs are built around autotune tweaks and heavy bass beats.  People could say the album was made to be played in clubs; although this is a valid opinion, I believe it is definitely good enough to be listened to on your iPod or blasted through your car stereo.  It is a fun album and worth a listen.  Click here to preview, purchase and download The E.N.D..  Check after the break (click “more…”) for a bonus!
