The “Spaceball Trampoline”

Spaceball Trampoline

So yeah, I’m not even going to attempt to explain what “Spaceball Trampoline is.  Cue the site that sells it, Uncrate:

Combining volleyball, basketball, and intense jumping, the Spaceball Trampoline is one crazy game. In Spaceball, players jump around in individual areas — both floor and walls — of a trampoline, and try to throw the ball past their opponent through a netted tunnel to the other side, all while bouncing up and down. Lauded by former astronaut Scott Carpenter as “the best conditioning exercise for space travel,” the game’s trampoline features a galvanized steel frame for minimal corrosion, a sturdy, polypropylene treated playing surface, and support for two players of up to 200 lbs. each.

Are you willing to spend a whopping $700 on this new sport?  I sure as hell am not.

Netflix will stream content exclusively on Xbox 360

It’s official–Netflix’s streaming capabilities will only live and breath on Xbox 360’s.  Microsoft struck a very smart deal with Netflix (and squashed previous rumors) when they announced that their Xbox gaming system will be the sole game console provider to allow Netflix streaming with the Netflix Watch Instantly feature.  This is big news on the streaming movies/TV shows front.  If people are looking to stream Netflix contentto their TVs, they only have one option when it comes to buying a game console.  Another point for Xbox, cha-ching!  See the full press release after the break.

More Zune HD videos; street date & price leaked

Engadget got some hands-on time with the upcoming Zune HD.  See the action in the video above.

In related news, it seems like electronics giant Best Buy has outed the release date and price of the Zune HD.  A spy shot of a Besy Buy inventory sheet reveals a September 8th release and two price points: $220 for 16GB and $290 for 32GB.  A tipster also nabbed further evidence at Amazon; they too have the same price point and release date listed.  Look after the break for the two screen shots.

Single, stripped: Mr Hudson – “Supernova” (Live w/ String Quartet)

Mr Hudson is back with another hit.  Actually, we have already seen much from his single “Supernova,” including the original song and a music video featuring Kanye West.  Here we have a stripped down version of the track; it is a live rendition that features a string quartet.  When I say stripped, I mean it; there is no auto-tune, no techno-esque bass line, and even the featured artist (KW) is absent.  Hudson shines on this track as his true vocal and production talent take center stage without all the bells and whistles behind him.  Listen to it below.  Intrigued?  Download it here.  Haven’t heard the original version or seen the music video?  Check after the break for it.
