Watch what happens when this particular biker (who is riding his bike in the wrong direction) accidently runs into a man attempting to jaywalk across a busy NYC street. Do you agree that the two mistakes cancel each other out, rending the whole situation lawfully null and void?
The marketing team behind the upcoming horror flick The Last Exorcism is good, real good. Using ChatRoulette, they are tricking desperate boys everywhere into thinking a beautiful girl is about to strip right before their innocent widening eyes. Much to their surprise (their reactions are PRICELESS), the girl is not about to flash her boobs but instead scare the crap out of them! Genius viral marketing campaign, indeed. The Last Exorcism hits theatres next Friday.
Ahh, this is so awesome! The Roots’ drummer Questlove was given the task of remixing the infamous “blind man is gay” reporter blooper with other topical clips. Using his drum kit and a DJ setup, Quest nails it. Short on time? Fast-forward to the 1 minute mark to watch the magic.
The Auto-Tune the News crew is back, and this time they use their perfected auto-tune powers to cover a local news report about a suspected “bed intruder.” Watch the original eyewitness news report featuring Antoine Dodson and then see what happens when it all gets auto-tuned in the video above. It’s spectacular, and very catchy. But you didn’t expect anything less now did you? (There’s an extended “iTunes version” of the song as well, and I’ve posted that one after the break.) From all the hubbub surrounding @KanyeWest and his tweets you’d never believe that he’s only been using the social networking service for less than a week. Just hours after he jumped on the bandwagon and started sharing thoughts only Kanye could come up with, comedian and real-life pal Aziz Ansari started an ongoing conversation using the hashtag #PredictingKanyeTweets. Early ones included: “Just saw a girl with huge titties at Del Taco.” “Hans Zimmer needs to write a score for whenever I eat a cookie. when I eat cookies shit is mad suspenseful.” The hashtag made it to Trending Topics for a few hours that first day.
Following #PredictingKanyeTweets is #KanyeNewYorkerTweets. That’s right, Twitter users are tagging Kanye’s tweets to actual New Yorker cartoons. Surprisingly they make for near perfect captions. I’ve posted one above, and there’s a bunch more in the gallery below. Like Ansari’s hashtag, this new conversation has just begun so make sure to search the hashtag often for a light chuckle throughout the day. Kanye must be loving this.
The name of this new web series gets me every time: The Jeff Lewis 5 Minute Comedy Hour. “Coming soon” is this new foul-mouthed, crazy hilarious series that brings The Guild‘s Jeff Lewis into the spotlight. The first season is directed by Sean Becker (The Guild, Awkward Pictures). I was given a taste of the first few episodes this summer and I must say they truly are freaking laugh-out-loud hilarious. Lewis is riot; it’s about time he’s starring in his own series. The video above was shared last week at Comic Con during the “Celebrate the Web” panel. It was received extremely well by the crowd. Do yourself a favor today and watch this sneak peek and prepare yourself for the hilarity that will surely ensue when the “5 Minute Comedy Hour” hits the web soon.
Warning: This video contains lots and lots of swearing.
I still can’t get “(Do You Wanna Date) My Avatar” out of my head and now there’s this! At this year’s Comic Con acclaimed web series The Guildunveiled their latest creation, Bollywood-inspired music video. The lyrics are catchy (again), the production value is top notch, and the art direction is superb (thanks to the enormously talented Greg Aronowitz). So watcha waiting for? Jump in and GAME ON!

Funny or Die approached artist Jewel and asked her if she’d like to have a hand in their latest prank. Like a good sport she said yes. Here’s the setup: Jewel gets disguised as a mild mannered businesswoman and gets encouraged to sing some of her most popular tunes at a local karaoke bar. Her audience is dumbfounded by this amazing voice coming out of a Plain Jane. Not a single person realizes that behind all the prosthetics is the actual Jewel. After some time Karen (Jewel’s alter-ego) leaves the stage and Jewel comes back as herself to perform more songs. To our amazement most of the bar hoppers still don’t realize this is Karen and make the connection. Watch it all go down in the video above.
The folks at Improv Everywhere are really make the world a better place. Their most recent stunt brought Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and a small army of Storm Troopers onto a NYC subway car. Watch the “mission” unfold in the video above.
