Yeah, you read that correctly–ANCHORMAN 2 is in the works! During a press event for his current movie Land of the Lost, funnyman Will Ferrell told a local radio station the “he expected to meet with Paul Rudd and Steve Carell “next week” to discuss ideas…and salaries: “[Because] believe me, I’m not taking a pay-cut. No way!” Rumors of an Anchorman sequel go as far back as last year when Ferrell told EW.com that he and “director Adam McKay were working on a followup that would bring classy 1970s newsman Ron Burgandy into the 1980s.” McKay has said “the audience will now allow us to do even crazier stuff, and that’s really all we’re looking for in our careers.” Great Odin’s raven, this is good news.
