2010 Consumer Electronics Show coverage coming soon

This week I will be reporting from the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.  It’s is considered to be the largest tech trade show in the world.  This year CES is host to over 2,500 exhibitors who will showcase their latest products and services.  An estimated 110,000 attendees are expected to make it, and I am psyched to be one of them.

Unfortunately CES is not open to the general public.  You must be “in the tech industry” in order to gain access into the show.  But all of that is about to change.

I will take you inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, the heart of CES where most of the exhibitors are set up and ready to show off their latest gadgets.  The future of technology for computers, cell phones, televisions, cameras, and video games waits to be explored.  Big-name electronics manufacturers like Microsoft, Intel, Sony, and Samsung as well as lesser known tech companies will have their latest advancements on display.

All the excitement will be brought to you with video interviews, hands-on impressions, and tons of pictures.  A talented broadcast crew and I will be out in full force on the show floor, so be sure to check back here for constant updates of the latest developments and show highlights.

The show kicks off Wednesday night with the Microsoft keynote hosted by MS CEO Steve Ballmer.  I’ll be reporting from the Venetian hotel with the all the details concerning Windows 7, Windows Mobile, plus a few surprises.

Keep in mind my mission statement:  Everything I do is for you, THE READERS.  I am travelling to Vegas and looking forward to sleepless nights so I can bring you the best CES coverage.  The majority of gadgets that are featured on the show floor will eventually land in stores waiting to be purchased by all of us, the consumers.  My goal is to share the knowledge I gain with you so you can become educated consumers in a tech market filled with too many decisions to make.  Also, CES happens to be one of the coolest trade shows ever, and I hope to bring you such an all-encompassing experience that it feels as if you are there!

I ask one thing from you:  SPREAD THE WORD.  Best way to get [experience-it-all] out there is by sharing links to the site with your friends and family on Facebook, Twitter, Dig, and other sites that embrace promotion.  Word of mouth works too.  Please do whatever you can to get it out there.  The aim is to have as many people as possible checking into the site for this year’s CES coverage and beyond.

Get ready to experience it all at CES.

COMIC CON 2009

I will be attending Comic Con 2009 in San Diego, California.  The Con runs from July 23 to July 26.  I will attend all TV, movie, and web panels worth covering.

Check back here nightly for each day’s full coverage.  Day Zero (Wednesday) is preview night; I will be watching the a pre-screening of the premiere episode of ABC’s new drama “V.”  Thursday, Friday, and Saturday include panels for new shows like “FlashForward,” “Glee,” and “V” and classics such as “24,” “Lost,” and “Fringe.”  That is just scratching the surface.  Comic Con is the place to be for the latest in TV, movies, and yes, comics.  I will try my best to cover as much of the insanity as I possibly can.  Remember, this blog is an extension of my interests that I enjoy sharing with YOU.  Look forward to my reporting on all the latest and exciting news at Comic Con 2009 over the next four days.

In the absence of my usual postings of flat-out hilarious videos, do yourself a favor and check out the video below.  It will surely brighten your day.
